The Oaf

A couple of nights ago we had a girls night out in our ward. It was awesome. I was gone until 3 AM. Seriously. Anyhow, over the course of the evening I was just thinking of how awesome Blaine is and what a sweet life we have together. He's sensitive, he listens to me, we can have dep conversations, yadda yadda yadda.

The next night our move was weighing heavy on my mind. I was looking out the window at a beautiful sunset and thinking how much I am going to miss the view we have from our bedroom. A canopy of green trees, amazing sunsets and fireworks from the local baseball diamond.

My interaction with Blaine went something like this
-------------

*gazing out our bedroom window at the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen*

Kristi: "Sweetie, how come we never pop out the screen of our window and sit on the roof and watch the sunset together? Or the fireworks?"

Blaine: "Because it is bad for the roof"

--------------

Eat your heart out ladies because he is ALL mine ; )

Give Blaine some credit. He does sappy stuff sometimes. Sometimes I think M and I have a relationship that is ENTIRELY practical. It has it's pros and cons...

I did give him credit! That was the whole first paragraph : ) He has the market on sappy. BUT, really? Not good for the roof? puh-lease!

At least he didn't say you'd fall through the roof. Now that would be just plain rude.

I like the title. ;) I bet Blaine does too.

Sunsets are over-rated anyway.

LOL - I love it Kristi! My mom would have answered something like this "because only hillbillies climb out their windows." She's been telling me that since I started climbing out my bedroom window when I was in elem. school. We still use that one window you & I were sitting by to have a fast-track route to the backyard in case of emergency. :D

the roof was mine and justin's favorite spot when we were dating. it was the only place my mom couldn't get to us!

I LOVE girls nights! I definately don't get as many of those here in Utah. Since I heard you are moving back here I thought I'd give you the heads up. Maybe we should start some girls nights when you get to Salt Lake. Especially if you are going to be with your parents for a little while. I'm still with mine so we's be close by.

So what exactly are "dep" conversations? I'd love to hear that. Do you talk about Johnny Depp, or what about that hair gel from the 80's called Dep. (You may be too young for that. And frankly I'm not EXACTLY sure that was the name of it.)

Ha ha!
