Finally!

Finally a decision that I am excited to stew about for days and days.

It won't affect my life whatsoever

It has no lasting consequences (unless I get food poisoning)

Noone cares what I choose

Life will go on if I make the wrong choice

It affects noone but myself

Are you ready?

What should I pre-order for Blaine's company Christmas party dinner? I will choose whatever gets the most votes. Unless you choose #3.

1) Lemon Pressed Chicken Breast (with artichokes, polenta, chorizo and shaved mimolette)
2)Capalleni pasta and zuccini ribbons with mushrooms, overnight tomatoes and warm oil vinagarette
3)Maple Brined Grilled Pork Chop (with pinoche, pancetta, roasted apples, and grilled radicchio)

I LOVE THESE KINDS OF DECISIONS!

Well I'm definitely choosing the chicken. The sad thing is that you left out the little descriptions of what each thing was that came in the email. My favorite was how it talked about the Spanish chorizo and then paranthetically stated what chorizo was for those who weren't familiar--"Mexican sausage". So I am very much looking forward to my Spanish Mexican sausage.

(Actually, there is a big difference between Spanish and Mexican chorizo and if it actually has Spanish chorizo I'll be really excited. I'm not nearly as big a fan of the Mexican variety...)

Good luck on the decision process!

Oh, I'm torn between #1 and #2. But I think #1 wins for me, mostly because, hello, MIMOLETTE!

#1 is definitely my choice because the word artichoke sells me every time. And polenta? Be still my beating heart.

I agree with Janssen, Polenta AND artichokes!!! Yum!

I reeeally don't care for sausage, but #1 still sounds the most appetizing.

#1 all the way. Can I come to the party?

p.s. I thought of you today when the kids got flu shots. I sure hope your rocket scientist friend knows what she's talking about...

Well if you're anything like me I would just make sure I order something different from Blaine, so that I can try two out of three. That is, if Blaine is nice like Jan in respects to sharing his food. I like these kinds of decisions too!!!

Seriously? 3 actually sounds super yummy to me - you are crazy! I can't believe you wouldn't eat that. Even if you won't eat it, that's my vote. The other 2 sound extremely generic.

I'm all about #3.

I don't understand most of that menu, but I love artichokes. But I also love mushrooms. And I love trying things when I have no idea what they are. So, I have no idea.
