Oh, and while I am at it (you know....writing blog posts at five in the AM)...will the person who consistently reads this blog from Oxfordshire please step forward and make yourself known? It's kind of driving me crazy not knowing who my frequent international visitor is. Paranoid as I am I kind of assume you might be a terrorist, but I'm not sure, so.....anyway, thanks in advance.

That's the trouble with having a stat counter. It drives me crazy, wondering WHO some of the people are that read my blog. And it's semi private.
See, this is funny because I do not know Earl. Unless you are the Earl I used to work with at RPT six years ago. That would be really coincidental.
So does that mean that you are the person from Oxfordshire (your profile says Las Vegas...), just curious.
Umm, that's me. My name is Thora, and I promise I'm not a terrorist. I'm Martha's high school friend (from Salt Lake City, not Granger), and so I read her blog, and once I looked at your blog once, and loved it. If you don't want me to read it, I won't, but I do love to. You make me laugh a lot (I have a two year old daughter) about being a mom, and life in general. Especially your post about the poopy weekend in San Antonio.
I've felt kind of silly reading a blog of someone who doesn't know me at all, but obviously not silly enough to stop doing it (and here I always hoped you didn't have a stat counter). I have a blog, thoraflorence.blogspot.com.
Umm, I guess that's it.
Phew! Seriously, please keep reading the blog, I am very flattered. I was just so dang curious because once in a while someone from another country visits but never consistently, so I was just curious if one of my long lost friends moved out of the country or what :) Any friend of Martha's is a friend of mine for sure! You are more than welcome and I am excited to check out your blog too. I am overjoyed that I can sleep peacefully knowing that terrorists are not stalking my blog. Unless Earl is a terrorist. From his profile it doesn't seem like it so I think I am safe!
Nice to meet you!
Oh, and I read plenty of blogs of people I don't know. I finally had to set a rule that I won't read them if I don't know the person; but I can't break the habit and keep reading
themoncurs.blogspot.com and keepupwithus.blogspot.com
plus now I feel like I am friends with these people so they count as people I know, right?
We TOTALLY know each other now. I think reading someone's blog for longer than a couple of months pretty much makes you next of kin. And when you have a mutual friend, then it completely seals the deal. 'Cause Meleah wouldn't have psycho friends, right? Well, not TOO psycho, at least. :0)
Kristi--how do you know who is reading your blog? All I have is a counter...
