A little secret

You may not know this about Blaine, but he is actually a pretty big deal. He has his own IMDB entry, and really it is his. He's been in movies. Okay, okay, he has been in a movie, but that is still more than I have been in.

The movie came out while he was on his mission, and oh boy did I watch it over and over because if you looked hard enough you could catch a small glimpse of his leg as he sped away in a milk truck.

It's been tough being married to a celebrity, always being in his shadow etc., but I've learned to cope well.

Oh my freakin' heck! You've got to be really proud to be in a movie that's plot summary goes a little something like this: "A teenager must battle for a gold charm to keep his family from being controlled by an evil leprechaun." SWEET! I wish I could see it. I bet it was awesome.

Oh man, his own IMDb entry!?!?!? That is SO cool. I think the only thing that could possibly be cooler is your own Wikipedia entry. My only claim to fame was that my maiden name was HIGHLY googlable.

That is the most awesome thing I have ever heard

Blaine wanted me to point out that definitely IMDB entries are way cooler than wikipedia entries since you can't make your own IMDB entry, it has to be verified etc. :)

I think Blaine should get some professional headshots done so you can add it to his IMDB website. :)

The funny thing is how it got added. It came up in a conversation somehow at a certain job I had (not this one) where we had a lot of free time (yes, it was my most fun job ever) and the people I work with made it their goal for the day to rightfully add to the database what the producers of the movie had left out--the leg of the person driving that milk truck belonged to Blaine Bassett. It took several weeks if I remember right for the reviews to go through and my friends forgot all about it but one day I looked it up and, lo and behold, there I was on IMDB.

I've never seen the movie (Katie's plot summary above was news to me...) but from what I understand they play it every year around St Pattie's Day on the Disney Channel, or at least they used to. Anyway, there goes one or two of my minutes of fame--I'm still hopeful another 13-14 are out there for me someday... :)

Saw the movie - it was really pretty good. Especially the milkman's leg part. We all screamed and played it back over and over again. I'd buy the DVD if it was ever available. My son - "all growed up and saving china." sniff-sniff.
