So I actually wrote my congressman a while back, like several months ago and today, randomly, he wrote back. It was kind of weird. He does not support the issue I wrote to him about, but it sure was nice of him to write back.
I just thought it was funny, cross that off my life goals

Good for you Kristi! I wrote to my local state representative once and never got a response. It was something I felt very strongly about and I assume he voted against it but I was glad to have at least had my voice heard.
