There is something about Gwenie. She draws people to her. Somehow after we came home from our walk the other day, she managed to get several of our neighbors involved in a rousing game of "Ring Around the Rosies". Look at the group we have here. The age ranges from 2 1/2 to 50+. Sandy (the woman in the green shirt) recently had surgery on her foot, but she joined in the fun (including falling down with the group, which is more than I could bring myself to do).I am so glad that I have the chance to be Gwenie's mom, and to see first hand what a powerful quality meekness is. If we could all be just a little bit more like children, think of the gaps that could be bridged in the world. Just like Gwenie is bridging those gaps in our neighborhood.
