You know this is Earth, right?

presented by TravelPod, the Web's First Travel Blog ( Member of the TripAdvisor Media Network )

My friend Kris put this on her blog and said she made it to level 10. Well, she has a PHD folks so I can't compare myself to her (or else I feel really like an idiot at how far I made it). So try it you must and tell me how far you got and hopefully you won't put me to shame. I am embarrassed to say that the computers response more often than not was "you know this is Earth, right?". Maybe this is the secret reason I want to homeschool, so I can re-learn a thing or two. Couldn't hurt.

I play this game all the time on Facebook. I've made to level 11 but can't get past that point. It's a really fun game but I've always been kind of a geography buff. Oh and I totally agree on the homeschooling thing. I think it will be so fun to learn stuff again and actually remember it this time instead of only learning it enough to pass a test! =)

Just for the record, I don't have a PhD yet and I only made it to level 10 after some practice. :) It's fun relearning where some of the countries are, but it's the little-known islands that tend to kill me!

Kris, come on now, I get to round up in this blog. So if you are working on your PhD, it counts as you having one :). Which means I can also round up and say that I got to level 10 too (though I really only got to level...gasp...5)As Mr. Riley would say "how embarrassing".

Okay, with a little practice today I got to level 8. I need to study Africa. I know where South Africa and Egypt are, but other than that it is a shot in the dark. Same with any sort of malaysia thing. Good grief. I need to travel....

I've played this on Facebook also. So fun! I got to level 8 too. I agree, Africa and those darn obscure island nations kill me!

I got to level 9, but now I am determined to win this thing! I am big into Geography, so hopefully I can do this!

My first try was level 6, but I eventually got to level 10. But that was with some really lucky guesses! And I probably played like 5-6 times.

Kristi - I don't know if others are having a similar issue or not, but I'm only able to see 1/2 the world...so even though I'm soooooo smart, it's hard to advance very far when you only get from Alaska to middle of Russia.

So are you really going to homeschool? You are braver and smarter than we ever were...we public schooled our kids and look what happened to them...:)

Oooo! This game is addictive! I have yet to get past level 8, but I refuse to give up. The US Cities one was pretty fun, too.

Plus, also HOMESCHOOL ROCKS!!! 'Nough said.

I'm also clueless as how to get to the entire screen. I would love to know the trick b/c I'm having fun with it!
