My sister is 14 years older than me. So I never knew the joys of being chokeholded by her for photos. It seems like it would have been really fun though. Kill him with kindness Gwen, kill him with kindness.
The picture is adorable. I'm sure Nick knows just how Bentley feels!
Also, I've just spent some time catching up on your blog and since I doubt you read old comments, I will put them here if that's okay. Loved all your stories. There is no way Blaine could have ever run a 5k in the Social Sausage outfit anyway - it was way too narrow. Blaine was in about 8th grade when that photo was taken. The costume originally came from some Quest project at Kennedy. I can't, for the life of me, remember what the project had to do with, but I think it was part of an English assignment. (Ms. Silletto?) So basically, it was a costume we already had! And since my kids weren't allowed to trick-or-treat after elementary school, I doubt Blaine went out in it (unless he got to take cute little pumpkin Max trick-or-treating) It sure brought back memories. And cowboys were always the back-up costume (we had two that year, must have been a hard year for me) Too bad we don't have the photo of the year that Blaine was a "pillowcase cowboy" Now he could run a race in that! Thanks for letting me ramble.

Blaine corrected my grammar. "Chokeheld" I guess. Whatever.

It was so good to hear from you (yes, I do remember you)! I have been reading your blog, and have been laughing so hard. Your kids are so cute.
