The greatest form of flattery

So I am going to try to copy two people in one foul swoop. I am going to copy Janssen by requesting, nay demanding, that you leave a comment on this post and I am going to follow it up by copying Joanna in introducing those who comment on my posts with a flattering line or two about them in another post. So post you must. Janssen gave people something to post about, so I will too. . .

If you read this post please leave a comment telling me the best thing that happened to you today OR in case you had a horrible day, you can tell me something nice you did for someone else. Heaven knows that if you are having a bad day you can at least try to make someone else have a good one.

So go on, let me know who is reading the blog, I will be sad and a touch embarrassed if no one responds. .

Kristi,

The best thing today was the feeling after I finished mowing the lawn and trimming the trees in front (we got a notice that they weren't trimmed high enough above the sidewalk and street). Perhaps the best part was that I didn't fall from the ladder even when stepping up on that last step.

The next best thing to happen today, after a shower that is, will be movie night with you and the gang!

Best thing about today? I got a new big stack of books from the library!

And I made a delicious treat to share at movie night tonight!

The best thing about today was drinking milk that came from a nice cold refrigerator. Although, if anything I would think you'd want me to do a little LESS commenting... I'm always mouthing off.

Kristi - I loved read your blog daily (yep, not much of a life for me :))The best thing that happened today was . . . I guess that Cub Scouts is over for the week - yipee! I just was not in the mood for 8 & 9 year old humor today. It went well though. I miss you and Blaine and we wish we could come see the new little Ben! Take care! ANDREA & Family

whoops - a little typo up there! It meant to say - I read your blog daily. Also - The boys absolutely loved seeing all of the pictures on your picasa photo album.

Kristi! I love you. Will you be my friend forever? (That's what I would write about you.)
Best thing that happened today:
I found out that a lady I greatly admire really desires my friendship! Isn't that cool? I feel cool. And desired.

Smiley face!

So, I haven't been leaving many comments as of late, b/c my security thing has been wiggin' out - but it's fixed now. And just so you know, I have been reading. Today, I chatted with some friends after playgroup and we had a good time - not to mention I got to run errands with only 1 spare, while my 3-year-old was otherwise occupied playing doctor, (oddly enough, I'm being literal). Much luv,K

best thing about today was that when I was really super tired for an unknown reason, my husband let me sleep and sleep even though he wanted to go play tennis with me and then he brought me dinner, cooked by him, in bed.

and Kristi/Fiddle, I absolutely love reading your blog. It's like one of my favorite things to look forward to each day!

Best thing about my day was getting to go to the store by myself which isn't that big of a deal actually since I get to do that a lot lately. And I have to tell you that I love your blog! I look forward to reading it everyday. It gives me something to look forward to. Although it makes me a feel a little inadequate in my own blogging abilities!=)

Fiddle...The best thing about my day today was that Cameron was throwing a huge fit. Screaming, kicking, hitting walls and being out of control completely! Why was that the best thing about today, you ask? Well after he had calmed down and he and Jeff had a little chat, he came and gave me a big hug, told me he loved me and said he was sorry for throwing a fit. So the best thing about today is that I'm a mom to the two greatest kids in the world! Thanks for making me think about this!

The best thing that happened in my day is that Dino Nuggets only take 2 minutes to cook, and then lunch is done! That seems so lame, but I really do struggle with lunch.
Also good was the fact that Kate didn't knock out one of her few precious teeth when she hit her mouth on the picnic table at playgroup. Lots of blood, yes, but all 6 teeth are still there!
Tell Gwenie we miss her. There are not enough girls in Anna's life. I think I might have to enroll her dance lessons.

The best thing that happened to me was spending some time alone in the car with my son. Just singing together while Christina ran a quick errand.

The best thing about today? ...three ... two ... one ... CAST OFF!!! Talmage got his right arm cast off. Maybe that seems like it was the best thing about Talmage's day. But he didn't seem to think any differently - cast on, cast off. However, I sure enjoy not having to dodge that fiberglass-laden upper right cut anymore (umm ... Talmage is my 15 month-old son, not my husband, for those who might suspect spousal abuse). Kristi, one thing I admire about you is that you are unafraid of the semi-colon.

Well Kris, I think the best part of my day is about to happen when I hit the sack, since Jane woke up at 3:30 this morning and I've pretty much been going since then. It's sure going to feel good to close my eyes tonight. You're sneaky, Kris, getting everyone to comment like this. You got me.

p.s. I don't know what I have to complain about to a new mom who is up all night feeding her new baby. Being up since 3:30 is nothing! I expect no sympathy from you.

I know I'm a little late. (Laurie - I struggle with lunch too. I can't get my daughter to eat anything but cereal, yogurt, and scrambled eggs!) Anyway - Wednesday the highlight of my day was visiting Kristi and seeing her new baby boy and playing with Gwen.

one of the favorite parts of my day is when my kids go to bed! That hasn't happened yet.

I'm a little late, but I must say that the best part of my day today is that I got to go to my mission reunion! I can't believe I've been home for almost 4 years now! I see the Sister's a lot, but the Elder's I have not seen since the Mish. So, it was a lot of fun! Plus, another good thing, I don't have to babysit tomorrow. I really hate having to babysit on my days off. Oh well! I have all the way until next Wednesday! Yahoo!
PS, I love the blog!

Do you take late entries? (As you know, I don't get on the computer every day.) Today is Sunday, and not just any Sunday but General Conf. Sunday. Obviously the best part of the day was no early meetings for dad, being together as a family ALL day and watching General Conference. Inspiring! We missed you guys but glad you were together with Nick and Stef.
