So maybe you have to have lived through the eighties or maybe you just have to have a mega crush on Hugh Grant, but I thought this music video from Music and Lyrics was hilarious (as was the rest of the show), but I was talking to Blaine's sister the other day and she thought it was super weird. What did you think of the movie? I admit if you just watch the music video it is probably pretty weird :)

When I watched the movie, I rewound that part and made Karlo come in to watch it too, I thought it was so funny. And yeah, I'm not afraid to admit that!
Wow this is totally weird. I tried to post this about three weeks ago and it wouldn't work and then randomly it posted itself tonight while I was at the ward party. Huh.
I thought it had its moments (like when they're singing to the bellhop guy). I really like the song they come up with together.
We watched this with Bart and Janssen and I'm sure they thought we were so weird because we totally loved it.
Watched to deleted scenes. That's all I have to say. I was laughing so hard tears were running down my face.
We LOVED this movie. Most of the music in the movie was written by Adam Schlesinger, the bassist from the Fountains of Wayne, who must be able to crank out a catchy funny song like its nothing. He wrote 'That Thing You Do' - whoops - now it will be in your head for the rest of the day. Anyway, if you aren't familiar with Fountains of Wayne - we highly recommend - Aaron got me into them a while back - forget Stacy's Mom though, not his best work...
Love the video. Totally eighties. I thought the movie looked lame so I really had no desire to see it, but now I'll have to check it out. Another movie I thought would be lame but that was really good is "What Happens in Vegas". So funny.
I thought tat movie was absolutely wonderful! I loved it! And heck, you can't beat the music video.
Love love love this movie! So funny and so cute.
This music video? KILLED me. I was sitting in the theater almost falling out of my seat I was laughing so hard. Classic 80s.
Ryan and I loved the movie too. We especially liked the music video - only one word comes to mind . . . AWESOME. Loved all the 80's trends :)
I don't love a lot of romantic comedies (I'm not against them--I LIKE quite a few, but I don't LOVE very many...) but I LOVED this movie. I guess anything about the creative process I find fascinating and this was about one of the most interesting creative endeavors to me--songwriting. Add to that its charm and "cuteness" and you really do have a great movie. Thanks for the post Kris.
