I've come up with two new rules for myself today. I have some bad habits I need to nip in the bud. So, I commit to you blog readers that....
1) I am only going to spend one hour on the internet per day (half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening)
and
2) I will not taste the sweet nectar of Dr. Pepper (or any other pop substance...sweet sweet Cherry Coke) unless I have had a full 8 glasses of water to drink for the day already. I am crying right now just thinking about it. This particular rule won't take effect until Tuesday September 2nd, because what's the use of a road trip if you can't wear sunglasses and guzzle cherry coke all the while. I have my standards you know.

Amen, Sister! And what do I do with my very first minute of my precious evening 30 in Blog-o-land, but check yours. That's devotion right there, I tell you what. Hmm, I should find some Dr. Pepper-esque rule to set for myself, too. I'll think about it, but not right now...the clock's a-tickin' you know. :) Can't wait to see the jet black locks you're sporting now. Oh, and thanks again to you (and Janssen) for the saWEET Relief Society lesson prepared and delivered to take all the work out of it for me. You Texans are the best!
I don't know if I like this idea but as long as you keep posting then I will be happy. Hey, I certainly didn't see any pics of the new hair today. How did it go? Was it a succes? I want to see!
I agree with number one wholeheartedly. Although I'm worried about making that rule for myself, and then not keeping it, and then feeling like a failure immediately. So I'm going to wait until I move (that's in a week), and then make it; turning a new leaf all at once and all that.

Wow - stumbled up on this by mistake and so glad I did. Love rule #1 and have been trying to implement something like that for a while and #2 -- totally agree about sunglasses and cherry coke for road trips!!!!
