Ivy Jane BassettIt's a long story, but we are so glad she has a name. For three seconds today her name was Lyla Jane; but then we changed it back to Ivy. I look forward to sharing that experience with you. But it's gonna have to wait till later!

Cute! She is so sweet. I think her face looks like Gwen's-- just lacking the hair. We liked Ivy too, but it seemed a little weird with the close to Christmas thing. Ivy and Eve are destined to be best friends.

Congrats! Cute baby and name. My great-grandma was Ivy and I have always liked that name but know I would never be able to convince Jim to name our daughter that--plus we have the whole "J" thing. So I guess there is no connection between the heartburn/lots of hair thing! :)
It was the same way as Noel - we could not decide. - But I'm glad we did and I'm glad you did! Ivy is a great name for a sweet girl like her! I can't wait to meet her.

Remember the best time to take newborn shots is within the first 2 weeks of their life (no really, it is -- they are more pliable and sleep most of the time). Anyway, that would be pretty close with the wedding, hummmm! Think about it... You, me, Ivy.... hmmmmm....
